Hello.
We just returned home to Canada last night after our Europe trip, which included a stay at the Florasol. On our booking request we had asked for a "glorious sea view". Well, you absolutely amazed us. We had the best sea and scenery view of any hotel on the lido. (Room 902) In fact I think we had the balcony shown on the hotel website. It could not have been any better and made our stay at the hotel wonderful. In fact many local restaurants suffered as we ate on the balcony and watched the view, sunsets etc rather than eat in a restaurant. My only problem was that if I thought about the fact I was sitting on a thin strip of concrete high up in the air my knees went weak.
If we return to Madeira we will certainly want our 902 balcony.
